The 2009 Chicago Cubs season is over. The good news is the team had its third straight winning season under Manager Lou Piniella. Unfortunately they’ve missed out on the playoffs.
 
You may be without the Cubs for a few months but there’s no reason not to get ready for next season! The 2010 schedule is out and you can get great Early Bird rates if you book your Beyond the Ivy outing for the 2010 season.

New Years Day Hockey Game

On January 1, 2009 the Chicago Blackhawks fell to the Detroit Redwings but anyone who made it out to the game were the real winners because of the awesome experince at Wrigley Field.  Anyone who saw this game realized it was special.  The weather was cold and the place was packed but it was a site to see. At Beyond the Ivy the views were awesome and food and beverages were great!  Winter Classic
